Preparation and microwave absorption property of graphene-supported CoFe2O4/Y3Fe5O12 nanocomposite

The graphene/CoFe2O4/Y3Fe5O12 nanocomposite was successfully prepared by a deoxidation technique. The phase composition, morphology and electromagnetic properties of the nanocomposites were characterized by various instruments. The electromagnetic parameters of graphene/CoFe2O4/Y3Fe5O12 nanocomposite were investigated in the different frequencies. The results show that the graphene/CoFe2O4/Y3Fe5O12 nanocomposite exhibits better microwave absorbing properties than CoFe2O4/Y3Fe5O12 and the optimized microwave absorbing property is achieved, the maximum reflection loss of the nanocomposite can reach to −32.9 dB at 13.6 GHz which is obviously enhanced compared with the CoFe2O4/Y3Fe5O12 nanocomposite.
