Abstract
Ferroelectrics can be used to charge the capacitors of an Arkadyev-Marx generator. The generator becomes a fully self-contained unit requiring no external power source. The effect of the processes occurring in the shock-loaded ferroelectric on the generator's characteristics is analyzed.
