Controlling Two-Qubit Entangled States in Ion-Trap Systems

Abstract

We present a scheme for the preparation of two-qubit entangled states of two two-level ions. Our scheme is insensitive to both the initial vibrational state and heating. This protocol may be realizable in the current physical experiment.
