Classification of Static Spherically Symmetric Spacetimes by Noether Symmetries

Abstract

Noether symmetries of some of the well known spherically symmetric static solutions of the Einstein’s field equations are classified. The resulting Noether symmetries in each case are compared with conservation laws given by Killing vectors and collineations of the Ricci and Riemann tensors for corresponding solutions.
