Abstract

Taking into account Bekenstein-Hawking area law, based on the analysis of Zeng and Liu et al. that area spectrum is determined by the periodicity of outgoing wave, we discuss on the quantization of entropy from the non-spinning and spinning dilaton black holes. As a result, the quantum of entropy ΔS=2π is obtained, which is in agreement with Bekenstein’s proposal.
