OPERATING DISTANCE AND COMPREHENSIVE PERFORMANCE EVALUATION FOR INFRARED SEARCHING SYSTEM

Abstract

The factor of signal processing is not described in detail in the traditional operating distance equation of the infrared searching system. In this paper, operating distance equation is amended, the effect of signal processing on operating distance of infrared searching system is analyzed, and a comprehensive performance factor for infrared searching system is introduced. A mathematics model is advanced as theoretical basis for the system design and performance evaluation.
