Underwater Concreting of the Derivational Channel of Chiryurt Hpp-1

Abrief information about Chiryurt hydroelectric station located in the Republic of Dagestan is presented. The complex value of the derivation channel of Chiryurt Hydro Power Plant (HPP)-1 for the Republic and the problems of its operation at the present time are described in detail. A comparative assessment of various options for canal reconstruction is given, considering the need for the operation of the waterworks during reconstruction and the minimization of social tension risks in the region. The conclusion is made about the optimal variant of reconstruction that provides a reliable and safe operation of the hydroelectric station.
