Results are presented for work on manufacture of a new set of first stage rotor blades made of nickel alloy ÉP800-VD for a gas turbine with power of 45MWproduced by OAO Turboatom. Blade life is determined on the basis of studying metal stress-rupture strength. Reasons are established for crack formation during manufacture.
