Abstract

The structural, adsorption, and electrokinetic characteristics of nanoporous glasses of different compositions in solutions of 1 : 1, 2 : 1, and 3 : 1 electrolytes are studied comparatively. The influence of the glass composition, the mean pore size, the pH, the concentration of supporting electrolytes, and the type of counterion on the colloidal chemical characteristics of microporous and macroporous membranes is analyzed.
