Determining the supplementary winding angle for a filament

  • Published:
Fibre Chemistry Aims and scope

A relation is presented to determine the supplementary winding angle that is needed to obtain a package with a distributed structure. The article also presents graphs which can be used to determine the value of the angle β for different dispersion cycles. The calculated results can be employed in the design of winding machines that are equipped with a dispersing element.
