A New Flavonoid from Plectranthus amboinicus

A new flavonoid, 5,8-dihydroxy-7,2′,3′,5′-tetramethoxyflavone (1), was isolated from the stems of Plectranthus amboinicus (Lour.) Spreng. The structure of the new flavonoid was elucidated from chemical and physical evidence.
