A new dibenzocyclooctadiene lignan ( 1 , schiviridin A) and five known ones ( 2–6 ) were isolated from the fruits of Schisandra viridis. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of UV, IR, 1D NMR, 2D NMR, HR-ESI-MS, and CD techniques.
