Decoration of 1,3-oxazole by alkyl substituents via CH activation (microreview)

  • Published:
Chemistry of Heterocyclic Compounds Aims and scope

Microreview describes recent advances in the synthesis of alkyl-substituted 1,3-oxazoles via CH activation reaction. The latest selected examples (2008–2018) on the synthesis of alkyl-substituted oxazoles by transition metal-catalyzed CH activation reactions as well as metalation with subsequent alkylation are summarized.
