Intramolecular heterocyclization of 1-aryl-3-(2-fluoro-4-nitrophenyl)- and 1-aryl-3-(2,4-dinitrophenyl)triazenes gave 1-aryl-6-nitro-1Н-benzotriazoles containing a nitro group in the benzenoid ring.
