Abstract

1,1′-Dialkyl-3,3′-di(2-quinolyl)-1,1′,4,4′-tetrahydro-4,4′-biquinolines react with organolithium and organo-magnesium compounds to form 1′-alkyl-2′-R-1′,2′-dihydro-2,3′-biquinolines.
