Equipment for preparing and continuous molding of thermoplastic composites

  • Published:
Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Aims and scope

The basic process lines for producing thermoplastic composites (TpC) are investigated. The most efficient versions of mechanization of the process of extrusion preparation and molding of TpC are determined and their advantages and disadvantages are indicated. Recommendations are offered on the use of extrusion equipment for TpC processing.
