Enhancing operational efficiency of gas-liquid reactor under the action of electromagnetic field

Sulfite method (absorption of air oxygen with Na2SO3 in the presence of CuSO4, followed by reaction) has been used to determine the operational efficiency of an experimental gas-liquid reactor under the action of electromagnetic field. The dependence of the sulfite number on the volumetric gas flow, the volume of the magnetic balls in the reaction space of the reactor, and the power of the electric field for creation of electromagnetic field has been determined. It has been found that the sulfite number in the reactor goes up 3–7 times under the action of electromagnetic field.
