New diaphragm design for quick-change constricting devices

Abstract

A new design of diaphragm for measurement of the flow rate of gas transported in high-pressure arterial pipelines is demonstrated. To lengthen the service life of the diaphragm (without increasing its thickness while retaining the accuracy of the measurement), it is proposed to impart a preliminary bend to the diaphragm toward the gas flow.
