Simulating the formation of colloidal sulfur in gas-phase condensation

  • Published:
Chemistry and Technology of Fuels and Oils Aims and scope

A method is proposed and realized for simulating the formation of colloidal sulfur during condensation from the gas phase. Calculations have been performed on the optimal parameters of the condensation, which increase the proportion of extracted sulfur from the gas phase and produce dispersed colloidal particles of size 0.5–5 μm, which produces dense structures of sulfur clusters.
