Adjuvante Therapie des frühen nichtkleinzelligen Bronchialkarzinoms (NSCLC)

Der Onkologe Aims and scope

Obwohl die Chemotherapie des fortgeschrittenen nichtkleinzelligen Bronchialkarzinoms mittlerweile zur Überlebensverbesserung und Symptomlinderung akzeptiert ist, ist die adjuvante Therapie in den frühen Stadien (I und II) nach kurativer Operation immer noch Gegenstand intensiver Untersuchungen. Bei einem Fünfjahresüberleben postoperativ von 67% (Stadium IA) bis 38% (Stadium IIB) und häufiger Fernmetastasierung könnte eine adjuvante Chemotherapie zur Vermeidung einer späteren Metastasierung sowie eine Radiatio zur verbesserten lokoregionären Kontrolle sinnvoll sein.
