The isotropy groups of bounded homogeneous domains are nontrivial

Abstract:

It will be shown in this paper that the automorphism group of a bounded homogeneous domain D in ℂn can never act freely on $D$. An equivalent statement is that the isotropy groups of bounded homogeneous domains always contain at least two elements.
