Abstract.
In this note, for any given n≥3 and 2≤m≤n (when m=n, we assume n divides 3 and n≥6), we construct examples of smooth projective varieties X of dimension n with p g (X)=1, π1(X)≌ℤ2n and the Kodaira dimension κ(X)=m.
