Erratum to: Intensive fishing of marine consumers causes a dramatic shift in the benthic habitat on temperate rocky reefs

Erratum to: Mar Biol DOI 10.1007/s00227-011-1833-1

The second, third and fourth formulae on page 4 under heading “Abalone responses to benthic habitat types” were published with some errors. The correct formulae are given below:

$$ {\text{Proportion of rock covered in other habitat types}} = \left( {{\text{rock area}} - {\text{area of ERA}}} \right)/{\text{rock area}} $$

$$ {\text{Expected proportion of abalone on each habitat type}} = {\text{proportion of rock covered in habitat type}} $$
