Abstract

This study develops a novel procedure for measuring the process capability indices of a complete product with several quality characteristics. The p-values of the estimators of Cpl, Cpu, and Cpp, so that the process works at least 100(1-α)% of the time, are provided. An evaluation checklist is also given to determine whether the process’s potentiality and performance meet consumers’ expectations.
