Abstract.
We extend to infinite dimensions an explicit formula of Chill, Fašangová, Metafune, and Pallara for the optimal angle of analyticity of analytic Ornstein-Uhlenbeck semigroups. The main ingredient is an abstract representation of the Ornstein-Uhlenbeck operator in divergence form.
