Zircon Markets Draw a Line in the Sand

Abstract

Demand for zircon is at its lowest point for a decade, caused largely by widespread substitution and elimination of zircon in traditional ceramics. Despite the current downturn, prospects are healthy for the opacifier mineral and an array of new supply projects are in the pipeline.
