Zusammenfassungen

Die Nutzung der Vorteile von Cloud-basierten Ansätzen lässt sich mit bestehenden IT-Landschaften meist nicht realisieren. Zur Ausrichtung auf das neue Paradigma ist eine Transformation heutiger IT-Landschaften erforderlich.

Klassische Enterprise Architecture Frameworks basieren meist auf der Annahme, dass ein Unternehmen in der Lage ist, die IT-Architektur komplett neu zu gestalten. Die Domänenmodellierung stellt im Gegensatz dazu einen eleganten Ansatz zur Transformation der bestehenden IT-Landschaft dar. Der Fokus liegt hierbei darauf, die IT-Landschaft mit den Geschäftsanforderungen in Einklang zu bringen.
