Mr. Brandt received his BS in metallurgical engineering from Lehigh University in 1953. He has worked in various capacities in technical service and sales for Union Carbide, Collier Carbon and Chemical Corp., and Kaiser Aluminum. He is currently president of Cal Carb, Inc. and a partner in BDW Associates, both consulting firms specializing in petroleum coke and calcining. Mr. Brandt is a member of The Metallurgical Society of AIME.
