Der neue V8-Dieselmotor für Land Rover

Zusammenfassung

Nachdem im Frühjahr 2004 der 2,7-l-TDV6-Dieselmotor für Jaguar, Land Rover und PSA in Produktion gegangen ist, hat Ford nun einen 3,6-l-V8-Dieselmotor für Land Rover entwickelt. Er wird zunächst im Range Rover und im Range Rover Sport eingeführt. Die Platzierung im Premium-Markt-Segment ist gleichbedeutend mit höchsten Anforderungen bezüglich aller Attribute des Motors. Spezifische Leistung, Drehmoment sowie die Motorakustik müssen hohe Ansprüche erfüllen. Entsprechend den Land Rover-spezifischen Anforderungen ist der Motor voll geländefähig und kann in allen Märkten der Welt eingesetzt werden. Der Motor erfüllt die Euro-4-Emissionswerte und wird mit geregeltem Partikelfilter verfügbar sein.
