Abstract
Most car manufacturers already make use of the flexibility and cost advantages gained by using Industrial Wireless LAN in production. However, the high degree of automation and the combination of operators and machines also require higher safety standards. Solutions from Siemens support these for both the automationsystem and the communication system.
