Abstract
Customer-specific solutions that are tailored to suit manufacturing requirements must also include purpose-oriented automation equipment. For the last 35 years, the machine tool manufacturer EMAG in Salach has been building highly automated production tools. The sub-contractors for the automotive industry in particular rely on interlinked, multifunctional production centers that incorporate some kind of system for the automatic loading and unloading of the workpieces.
