Low-Pressure Sand Casting of Vehicle Components

Abstract

Now that its low-pressure sand casting process is ready for production, GF Auto motive has opened up new applications in automotive construction. Georg Fischer calls it “LamiCast”. The process is a combination of aluminium sand casting and low-pressure gravity die casting.
