Alice S. Rossi is a research associate on the Committee on Human Development, University of Chicago, working with a five-year Career Development Award from the National Institutes of Health. Currently she is studying middle class kinship and family life, the influence on women’s occupational choices, and careers of a group of 1961 female college graduates.
