The investigation of the cathode region of the glow discharge in neon

Abstract

The results of preliminary measurements of the space distribution of electric parameters and glow of the plasma in the cathode region of the glow discharge in neon are presented in this work. At present time, the theory of the cathode region of the glow discharge, which based on the nonlocal kinetic of the electrons, is developing. But this development holds by absence of the systematical experimental data.
