Wave mechanics and the photon II

The many-body aspect
  • L. Jánossy

The considerations of a previous paper in which we have dealt with the wave mechanical picture of the emission of a photon by a single atom are extended. It is shown how the emission of photons byN independent atoms of a gas can be treated by wave mechanics. The problem of wave functions realized in nature is discussed in some detail.
