Theory of anharmonic thin films in pseudoharmonic approximation

Abstract

The theory of anharmonic bulk crystals in pseudoharmonic approximation proposed byPlakida andSiklós is applied to thin films. The phonon properties of thin films are investigated with respect to their individual as well as statistical aspects.
