Abstract
A comparison has been given between the algebraic expressions of the line strengths of the branches and the results of the numerical diagonalization computer method applied to the3Σ-5 Π(int) transition of the CrO molecule. Moreover, explicit algebraic expressions are obtained for the line strengths in the5 Π-5 Π transitions where both5 Π states may belong to the coupling case intermediate between Hund’s cases (a) and (b).
