Als eerste categoraal ziekenhuis in Nederland heeft Het Oogziekenhuis Rotterdam de accreditatie van het Nederlands Instituut voor Accreditatie van Ziekenhuizen (NIAZ) ontvangen. De NIAZ-accreditatie is het belangrijkste kwaliteitskeurmerk voor ziekenhuizen en geeft aan dat een organisatie adequate en veilige zorg biedt aan haar patiënten.
