Samenvatting

In dit proefschrift worden de resultaten van de EASY care Study beschreven naar de meerwaarde van het verpleegkundig huisbezoek aan kwetsbare ouderen. Melis toont aan dat door deze nieuwe vorm van zorg het welzijn van de ouderen verbetert en hun zelfredzaamheid behouden blijft. Bovendien blijkt de nieuwe zorg kosteneffectief.
