Samenvatting

Half april verscheen in de VS een richtlijn over de farmacologische en chirurgische behandeling van obesitas. Alle dokters zouden zich bewust moeten zijn van de gevaren van obesitas (BMI >30). De richtlijn bestaat maar uit vijf aanbevelingen, die ondersteund worden door twee zeer uitgebreide systematische reviews. Dokters zouden met te dikke patiënten moeten praten over bewegen
