Het is bekend dat kinderen die in hun eerste twee levensjaren bronchiolitis doormaken, later meer piepen, meer last hebben van hoesten of astma en vaker hyperreactieve luchtwegen hebben en een verminderde longfunctie. Maar is de bronchiolitis ook de oorzaak van die ellende?
