Eind juni 2009 heeft de NVVG het rapport ‘Mediprudentie in de startblokken’ aangeboden aan het ministerie van SZW. Het rapport is het verslag van een onafhankelijke voorbereidingscommissie. Deze commissie heeft zich gebogen over de vraag hoe het advies ‘Mediprudentie’ van de Gezondheidsraad in praktijk kan worden gebracht.
