Samenvatting
Het sacro–iliacale gewricht als oorzaak van het lumbosacrale pijnsyndroom blijft een punt van discussie. Uit anatomisch en biomechanisch onderzoek blijkt dat er in de sacroiliacale gewrichten gedurende het hele leven enige beweeglijkheid is, waarbij het gaat om een zeer geringe rotatie en translatie.
