Samenvatting

Bondingpsychotherapie is een vorm van intensieve groepstherapie en de Vereniging voor Bondingpsychotherapie werd opgericht door psychotherapeuten in Nederland en Vlaanderen die werken met deze therapievorm. Haar grondlegger, Daniel Casriel, een Amerikaanse psychiater en psychoanalyticus, ging ervan uit dat bonding, een toestand van lichamelijke en geestelijke nabijheid, een noodzakelijke levensbehoefte is en dat een tekort als kind en ook als volwassenen leidt tot disease, een lichamelijk en/of geestelijk onwelzijn.
