Onlangs verschenen in de British Medical Journal een drietal artikelen over de mogelijke relatie tussen het gebruik van selectieve serotonineheropnameremmers (SSRI’s) en zelfmoordpoging. Een veelbesproken en controversieel thema dat begin jaren negentig voor het eerst werd beschreven, niet tot een eenduidige conclusie heeft geleid over die vermeende associatie.
