Samenvatting

Er zijn twee groepen stoffen die op het renine-angi-otensine-aldosteronsysteem (RAAS) aangrijpen en die gebruikt worden om de bloeddruk te verlagen. Dit zijn de remmers van het angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE-remmers) en de angiotensine-II-anta-gonisten (AT-II-antagonisten).
