Samenvatting
Al enige tijd wordt in Nederland gewacht op de feitelijke introductie van de langwerkende insuline analoog glargine. Inmiddels komen geleidelijk meer gegevens binnen over het verwachte voordeel ervan (EASD, 2002). In april 2002 besteedde een Amerikaans farmaceutenblad zelfs een redactioneel commentaar eraan bij een review. (23 referenties)
