4. Summary

The Raman spectrum of C-deuteratedγ-glycine (NH 3 + CD2COO) in the crystal powder form was taken usingλ 2536·5 excitation. 26 Raman lines were recorded. Of these, eight lines are attributed to the external oscillations and eighteen Raman lines to the internal oscillations. Proper assignments are given to the observed frequencies.
