Abstract
Grain coarsening kinetics have been measured on a commercial grade of corroding lead (99.99+ pct) in the as-die-cast condition; in the range 90° <t < 300°C an activation energy of 13.6 kcal per g-atom was found for grain growth. These results are compared with theoretical models and other data.
