Surgical treatment of axillary hyperhidrosis

Summary

The results of surgical treatment of idiopathic hyperhidrosis by axillary skin excision are reported. Symptomatic improvement occurred in 81 per cent of patients treated. In suitable patients this simple operation would appear beneficial.
